Fun Family Times (June & July)

We have had a number of fun family events over the past couple of months. Here are a few highlights.

Teacher only days spent with grandad sharing his newly discovered skills – baking.

We took the opportunity to have a ride on the Te Ara Ahi track before the family all arrived in Taupō

Lake Okaro just off the highway between Taupō and Rotarua
Had a lovely soak in the hot pools at Wairakei at the end of the day

We borrowed two tandem bikes to go with the bikes we already had in Taupō

The weekend weather was fresh with enough blue sky to give us a couple of really good ride days around the lake track.

We all went through to Rotarua and rode the luge to celebrate Andy’s Birthday.

When the kids went back to school Andy and Graeme took the bikes along the new Manawatu Riverside track to Linton.

The family spent a fun Sunday afternoon at the Feilding Mini Golf course.
