You never know the outcome of opening up your home and family to someone in need.
We were amazed to read the attached article (NZ Listener 9th December 2017) where the accomplishments of Stan Tiatia were acknowledged.
Stan came to live with us in 1985 (32 years ago) when he was studying for school certificate.
We are so very proud of all that he has achieved in his life and all for the benefit of children who, without his intervention programmes, would struggle with the education system.
The fact that he built & rides his own Harley Davidson only adds to the esteem in which I hold him.
