Llangollen

What a way to finish off our time in England Ann and I, together with John & Jill Post, hired a narrow boat for 4 days cruising on the Llangollen and Montgomery Canals.

It was one of those times that no matter how much planning you put into organising the event, it turns out to be more than you can dream or imagine.

The weather just perfect for canal boating, warm with very little wind and no rain.  The company of John and Jill, like we experienced on the Danube, was the highlight of the 4 days. We walked, talked and shared fun times over meals & drinks.

I have encapsulated the time in a 7.50-minute clip. The boat was called Drifter and the music is drifting by Enya.

  1. What a spectacular trip! That long tunnel and the bridge both looked amazing and slightly terrifying.
